About
Here’s to a long life and a merry one. A
quick death and an easy one. A pretty
girl and an honest one. A cold pint and
another one!
Chris Canady - Began learning guitar around 10 years old but
started to really focus on guitar in high school. He loves
anything Celtic and took on learning the bodhran (Irish drum)
and has become more than somewhat proficient with it. Chris
plays guitar, bass, bodhran and provides both lead and backup
vocals for Pipers’s Folly.
Tony Osladil - Began playing guitar at age 9 and probably
began singing as soon as he learned to talk! He has played in
many bands and performed hundreds of shows over the last 40
years and currently is also in an acoustic duo called "The DTs".
Like the other members of Piper's Folly, he plays multiple
instruments in the band, including 6 and 12-string guitars, bass
guitar, bodhran (Irish drum), and a pretty mean stompbox.
Dave Canady - Dave’s early guitar performances were leading
campfires up in the Sierras. In college he joined his first rock
band where he sang, played bass, and piano. Knowing what
traditional instruments were needed for an Irish sound, Dave
accepted the challenge to learn accordion, mandolin, and
bagpipes. Dave also plays bass, sings some lead, but much of
his vocal are adding harmonies to the band’s sound.
Marcus Dunn - Is the band’s Banjo, Irish Whistles, Bass,
Vocals, Great Highland and Uillean Pipes expert. Being a man
with perhaps the most Irish DNA in the band it is perplexing
how he remains a man of such few words.
